Professional Fire Investigation, Forensic Consulting, and Instruction
Jesse Lampf is a seasoned fire and criminal investigator with extensive experience in origin & cause investigations, arson, and explosives cases. He served as a certified member of the internationally accredited ATF National Response Team (NRT), where he acted as Lead Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) on numerous large-scale incidents across the country.
Jesse is a subject matter expert in fire investigation, report writing, civil and criminal litigation support, and expert courtroom testimony. He has spent his career educating others, providing instruction to federal agents, international students, fire marshals, prosecutors' office detectives, and members of professional fire investigation associations throughout the U.S. and abroad. His credentials include instructional certifications from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI).
Academically, Jesse holds a B.A. in Political Science from Boston University, a Master’s in Criminal Justice from John Jay College in NYC, and a Master’s of Forensic Science in Fire and Explosion Investigations from Oklahoma State University.
Notable leadership roles include managing complex investigations as Lead CFI in New Jersey at the Marcal Paper Factory fire, Playland’s Castaway Cove boardwalk fire, the Warrington Hotel fire in Ocean Grove, a fatal warehouse fire in Hoboken, and a 2024 industrial park fire in Elizabeth, NJ. His ability to manage high-stress, multi-agency investigations with professionalism and poise sets him apart in the field.
